"Baby Bear Rocker"

Inspired by “Goldilocks and the Three Bears,”
this one-of-a-kind child’s rocker was handcrafted
by a local craftsman from alder,
apple, birch, dogwood, hazelnut, locust and
melaleuca wood, and is finished with
beeswax and nontoxic, food-grade tung oil.

"Buckboard Wagon"

A traditional buckboard wagon created for a child from maple and oak
by a local craftsman.
About the artist:
Ken Sliger is a builder who has lived on San Juan Island for 15-plus years.
"I like to call myself a carpenter. Some famous people have started as carpenters.”

Created by CATS member Sharon Towson, this
elegant tree features decorations representing all that
is special about San Juan Island. From foxes to the
island camel, lighthouses to sailboats and kayaks, this
Christmas tree will definitely generate conversation!

About the artist:
Annie Howell-Adams is an award-winning painter. She works
outdoors around her San Juan Island home at beaches, farms and
special locations she has known since childhood. Annie is a keen
observer of light, rooted in the 19th century tradition of plein air oil
painting. At the basis of her work, she believes in good composition
and sound drawing skills. In her abstract work, she often distills ideas
to their essential form. For Annie the biggest joy is the act of creating.
